The Vinski Univerzum festival is a unique event, connecting young winemakers from all over Slovenia with young people discovering wine culture, an important part of Slovenian heritage. The festival aims to raise the culture of wine appreciation among young people and to promote Slovenian wines, winemaking and wine tradition. 

What makes the festival special is that, as the largest educational wine event, it allows all young winemakers (aged 18–35) to take part on equal terms and also involves study centres across Slovenia. It places particular emphasis on young people up to the age of 30, especially students eager to learn about wine culture. 

The project is run by a young team of volunteers, winemakers and wine lovers, who are building a platform to promote Slovenia's wine potential while gaining valuable experience.
