Terms and Conditions

GENERAL INFORMATION

The website www.vinskiuniverzum.si is operated by ZAVOD VINSKI UNIVERZUM (hereinafter: the organiser).

BUYING TICKETS

Buy tickets online only through the link on the Vinski Univerzum website (https://vinskiuniverzum.com).

PURCHASE AND TICKET STATUS

You will receive a confirmation of your successful purchase at the e-mail address given at the time of purchase, which also shows the status of your tickets (number, date and location of the event) and purchase.

PROTECTING TICKETS

Tickets may not be misused, copied or altered. The buyer is responsible for protecting purchased tickets and preventing misuse that may occur if they in any way give third parties access to the ticket or QR code. Each ticket is valid for the first entry to the event, which means that further entries with the same ticket will not be possible. By using an authorised ticket, the user accepts the terms and conditions and rules of the event organiser.

ERRORS DURING PURCHASE

If the browser displays an error message during purchase or other obvious problems occur, the buyer should first check the status of the transaction with their bank or account before trying again. If no confirmation for the desired event is shown, the transaction was not completed. If the purchase is listed among the transactions in online banking, the transaction was successful. If you have problems, contact us on +386 (0)41 236 779 or at info@vinskiuniverzum.com

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

A complaint can be submitted in writing to info@vinskiuniverzum.com . The complaint must state the complainant's contact information and describe the reasons for the complaint in detail. The complaint must be submitted no later than eight days before the event.

The event organiser must give the complainant a written or oral reply within eight days of receiving the complaint.

BUYING TICKETS ONLINE IS FINAL

Before buying, the buyer must carefully check all purchase details (date and amount of purchase, name of the event, number of tickets, etc.). In the last box before payment the number of tickets can still be changed. After buying tickets, which is carried out directly when buying online, changes or withdrawal from the purchase are no longer possible.

In accordance with point 12 of the fifth paragraph of Article 43.č of the Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot), a consumer has no right to withdraw from a contract for leisure services where the business undertakes to fulfil its obligations on a specific date or within a specific period, unless the contracting parties agree otherwise. In view of this statutory exception, all ticket orders are binding regardless of how the order is placed (online shop, point of sale or event box office). Tickets for all events in Slovenia and abroad purchased through the online portal or its authorised points of sale, cannot be returned and no refund can be claimed for them.

If tickets are lost or stolen, the buyer is not entitled to a refund, exchange or replacement tickets. Loss, theft or destruction of a ticket must be reported to the seller as soon as possible.

Tickets in the online shop can be purchased by natural persons only. If you want to make a purchase for a legal entity, contact us on +386 (0)41 236 779 or at info@vinskiuniverzum.com.

For the purpose of supplying tickets to legal entities (fulfilling a contractual obligation), the buyer gives the seller the delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address.

PRICES OF GOODS

Prices apply at the time the order is placed and have no predetermined validity. Despite exceptional efforts to provide the most up-to-date and accurate information, price information may be incorrect. In that case, or if the price of an item changes while the order is being processed, the organiser allows the buyer to withdraw from the purchase.

EVENT CANCELLATION

If an event is cancelled or its date changed, the organiser is responsible for dealing with the situation and refunding money.

If an event is cancelled or postponed, you can use your tickets for the new date or we will refund your money no later than one month after the planned event date. We do not refund money for tickets returned later or unused, and they cannot be exchanged for another event. The value of a ticket transferred to a new event date remains the same.

Holders of tickets paid for with payment services that allow a refund to the same payment instrument receive the refund in the same way they paid. Once the purchase price is refunded, tickets become invalid regardless of their form.

In the event of cancellation, a change of date or a change in the line-up or programme, additional costs you may incur (e.g. travel, hotel, point-of-sale or delivery costs) are not refunded.

The organiser announces changes on its website and in public media and social networks.

REFUNDS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE

For events postponed or cancelled due to force majeure, the organiser refunds ticket buyers in one of the following ways:

  1. Refund of tickets for postponed or cancelled events organised by Zavod Vinski Univerzum

For cancelled events the organiser endeavours to find a new date. The organiser announces new dates, as well as which events have no guaranteed new date and are cancelled, on an ongoing basis on its websites and social networks and in its e-newsletter. Tickets purchased for postponed events are valid for the replacement dates and visitors do not need to exchange them (unless stated otherwise).

If the new date does not suit visitors or the event is cancelled, the organiser issues a credit note for the ticket price or refunds the purchase price. A credit note or refund request must be arranged by the day of the new date of the postponed event. A credit note is valid at least until the new date of the postponed event.

Requests for a refund or credit note

The organiser issues the credit note or refund within 30 days of receiving a written refund request. Ticket buyers can submit the request at the registered office of Zavod Vinski Univerzum during opening hours or remotely. Remotely means sending the e-ticket, a photo or scan of it and bank account details for the transfer to info@vinskiuniverzum.com.

ISSUING INVOICES

After dispatching the ordered items, the organiser sends the buyer an invoice in PDF format to their e-mail address. The invoice itemises the price and costs related to the purchase. The buyer must check that the invoice details are correct and notify the seller of any errors within eight days of receipt by e-mail to info@vinskiuniverzum.com or on +386 (0)41 236 779. The organiser does not consider later objections regarding the correctness of issued invoices.
